The Oscars are still over a month away, and while the nominees have yet to be announced, we just got a glimpse of what to expect from host Chris Rock.

In his first promo video for the prestigious award show, Rock compares the Oscars to New Year’s Eve by joking that “it’ll be a night that ends with a lot of drunk, disappointed people swearing they’ll do better next year.”

Accurate.

Rock, who follows Neil Patrick Harris as host, shared the promo video on his Twitter page Friday.

“There will always be 3 constants. Death, taxes and the Oscars. Hope all 3 don’t happen to me this year,” he wrote.

Nominations for the 2016 Oscars will be announced on Jan.14 and the ceremony airs on Feb. 28 at 7 p.m. ET on ABC.
