Chrissy Teigen is challenging Instagram’s nudity policy again, this time with a nude photo of her husband John Legend.
Teigen posted a naked photo of Legend from inside their hotel room Tuesday, with her knee blocking most of his derriere. She made sure to tag Instagram in the snapshot.
The supermodel has had some back-and-forth with the photo-sharing platform recently over their no-nipple agenda. It all began when she posted a topless pic from her W magazine shoot. After that photo was removed, she posted multiple follow-ups to see just how much nudity Instagram deems acceptable.
Her photo on Tuesday pushed the boundaries of Instagram’s Community Guidelines, which state:
We know that there are times when people might want to share nude images that are artistic or creative in nature, but for a variety of reasons, we don’t allow nudity on Instagram. This includes photos, videos, and some digitally-created content that show sexual intercourse, genitals, and close-ups of fully-nude buttocks. It also includes some photos of female nipples, but photos of post-mastectomy scarring and women actively breastfeeding are allowed. Nudity in photos of paintings and sculptures is OK, too.
Oh, Chrissy, we love you.
