A new trailer has arrived online for Before I Go To Sleep, in which Nicole Kidman stars as a woman whose brain is incapable of retaining any information from one day to the next.
Waking up next to her husband (Colin Firth) each day is akin to waking up next to a stranger… at least until a few fragments of memory begin to return, that is.
Gradually, with the assistance of Mark Strong’s doctor, Kidman begins to piece together the events that left her with this condition, placing a question mark over what she had believed to be true…

The source novel by S.J. Watson is a bona fide page-turner, and from the looks of the material we’ve seen so far, it seems as though that tension and uncertainty has translated nicely to the big screen…
Directed by Rowan Joffe and co-starring Anne-Marie Duff, Before I Go To Sleep will open in the UK on 5 September 2014.
