Sex Criminals wins week’s highest score — again! That’s hardly surprising at this point. Other indie titles we reviewed include The Walking Dead, a new Godzilla comic by bad boy Cullen Bunn, and Kevin Keller’s turn as a superhero known as The Equalizer.

At Marvel, we got the penultimate chapter of Original Sin (Nick Fury vs. The Marvel Universe!), an Angel-centric story in All-New X-Men, and Wolverine’s one step closer to the grave in his solo series.

DC had a bunch of releases, but the one that deserves to be highlighted is Batgirl #34 — the final issue written by Gail Simone. Simone ushered the character into the New 52 amidst a storm of controversy, but persevered through pure quality storytelling that made the title an IGN favorite.
