The fact that Arrow’s second season was so great makes the wait for Season 3 and the debut of its sister series, The Flash, that much harder. The good news is that fans won’t have to wait until October to experience the further adventures of Oliver Queen and Barry Allen in this TV universe. Today DC announced a pair of new digital-first comics that will tie into both series.

Arrow’s Kreisberg and Sokolowski to Take Over DC’s Green Arrow Comic

The first is Arrow: Season 2.5. As the title suggests, this comic will bridge the gap between the second and third seasons and set the stage for a number of characters and developments to come in the TV series. Season 2.5 will be co-written by Arrow executive producer Marc Guggenheim and staff writer Keto Shimizu. Joe Bennett and Jack Jadson will provide the art.
