Spike Lee’s 1989 film “Do the Right Thing” brilliantly captured a slice of life in Brooklyn. But “Jimmy Kimmel Live” decided that a sequel would have to go in a different direction to reflect the gentrification of the New York City borough.

We have a feeling that even Spike would laugh at this sendup — and then rise up against hipster tension.
