Dune Prophecy’s first season came to a dramatic conclusion last year, and HBO has already confirmed the show will be returning for a second. Details are yet to be confirmed, but we likely won’t see the story continue until at least 2026. Set 10,000 years before the events of Dune, Dune Prophecy explores the conflict between two Harkonnen sisters. Along with setting the story for the hit movies, it also covers the founding of the Bene Gesserit. Inspired by the novel Sisterhood of Dune (written by Brian Herbert and Kevin J. Anderson), it’s an easy recommendation for fans of the original novels or two impressive movie adaptations. Bonus features are yet to be announced, but expect to see various behind-the-scenes clips and interviews with the crew.

Want to save a few bucks? Pick up the standard Blu-ray version of Dune Prophecy. It should offer all the same bonus features, but the show’s six episodes are offered on Blu-ray instead of 4K UHD.
