Marvel Comics has come under fire for an overly erotic image used as a variant cover for the upcoming Spider-Woman #1 comic. The image was drawn by Milo Manara, an artist known for his pornographic comics Click, Butterscotch and Hidden Camera, so the criticism is not about the quality of his art, but rather why Marvel thought it was a good idea to use such an image for a comic assumedly made to appeal to women.
