Before “American Horror Story: Hotel” even aired its first episode, a joke about how five of this season’s co-stars look nearly identical took off like wildfire around the Internet.

Strong jaw lines, light eyes, good hair. Possibly, Max Greenfield, Cheyenne Jackson, Wes Bentley, Finn Wittrock and Matt Bomer were created in a lab by Lady Gaga’s people. But regardless of where they came from, Jackson told Vulture last week at the amfAR gala in Los Angeles that the actors are, indeed, aware of their similarities.

Further, Jackson admitted that he’s even been confused with his good-looking colleagues on set.

“I remember my second day on set,” he explained, “One of the [assistant directors] was like, ‘Here, can you sign out here, Finn?’ And I’m like, ‘Oh, I’m not Finn.’ And he’s like, ‘Oh, I’m sorry, Matt.’ And I’m like, ‘Nope. It’s Cheyenne, actually.'”

Whoops.
