Frances Bean Cobain reportedly tied the knot with longtime fiancé Isaiah Silva in a secret wedding ceremony.
According to E! News, the 23-year-old daughter of Courtney Love and the late Kurt Cobain said “I do” in front of approximately 15 guests, none of whom was her mother.
“Courtney loves Isaiah, but was devastated to learn that Frances had gotten married without her knowing,” a source told the website, adding that while the rocker is happy for her daughter she’s sad she wasn’t at the wedding.
The hush-hush wedding comes after lengthy engagement. Cobain and Silva, who was the frontman for The Rambles before moving on to rock band The Eeries, had been dating for more than a year when they became engaged in October 2011.
“Getting to spend the rest of my life loving my best friend makes me the luckiest woman in the world,” Cobain wrote on Facebook back in 2011.
At the time, news of their engagement made headlines due to the fact Cobain was only 19 and that Silva bore a strong resemblance to her late father.

The Huffington Post reached out to a rep for Courtney Love regarding her daughter’s reported nuptials and has yet to receive comment. The 51-year-old singer seems to have alluded to her absence from the wedding in a Instagram post she shared on Saturday. “If you think I’m sorry for being a no-show at any important events this week, think again,” Love captioned a photo of herself and model James Norley.

While Cobain and Love had been publicly estranged for sometime, the two reconciled and seemed to be in a good place earlier this year when they walked the red carpet together at a screening of “Kurt Cobain: Montage of Heck,” which Cobain produced.
Meanwhile, just last month, Love shared a photo of herself with her late husband in bed with Frances when she was just a baby. Love captioned the photo, “My greatest love and our precious Bean #missyou #memories.”
