The sequel to “Snow White and the Huntsman” might have lost its Snow White (KStew’s playing the indie-game, anyway), but it gained two new actresses — Jessica Chastain and Emily Blunt. Honestly, it’s a trade we’re willing to make.

Universal released the official character posters for “The Huntsman: Winter War” on Monday, featuring Chastain, Blunt and Charlize Theron giving us some medieval fantasy realness. Their posters are so amazing we almost forgot about Chris Hemsworth.

The spinoff follows Hemsworth’s Huntsman and his forbidden lady love The Warrior (Chastain) as they battle Theron’s Evil Queen, who has now partnered with her long lost sister the Ice Queen (Blunt).

Blunt’s casting is almost too good to be true. She’s obviously been honing her Ice Queen skills since her “Devil Wears Prada” days.

“The Huntsman: Winter’s War” is slated to hit theaters April 22, 2016.
