Leave it to Stan Rizzo to make us shed our goodbye “Mad Men” tears a whole seven hours early.

Though the second half of the prestige drama’s final season is yet to air, actor Jay R. Ferguson took to his personal Twitter account on Monday, July 28, to share a photo of his character’s much-beloved beard, shaved off into a sink.

Viewers won’t bid the show adieu until May 2015, but the photo suggests Ferguson has wrapped shooting for his final scenes as Stan — though we can all still hold out hope that he actually has one last hour to film, in which he goes clean-shaven for the launch of he and new girlfriend Peggy’s major advertising firm, Olson Rizzo.
