Jim Carrey took to Twitter Saturday to show his love for ex-girlfriend Cathriona White, who was found dead in her home on Monday.
The 53-year-old actor, who dated White on and off from 2012 to 2015, shared a photo of a silhouette of the pair alongside the message “Love cannot be lost.”

The “Bruce Almighty” star and other friends and family gathered for White’s funeral in Ireland on Saturday.
The 30-year-old makeup artist’s cause of death is yet to be determined. However, a representative of the Los Angeles Coroner’s office told The Huffington Post that pills and a note were found at the scene.
Carrey released a statement to HuffPost on Monday following the news of White’s death:
“She was a truly kind and delicate Irish flower, too sensitive for this soil, to whom loving and being loved was all that sparkled,” he said. “My heart goes out to her family and friends and to everyone who loved and cared about her. We have all been hit with a lightning bolt.”
