He may have changed the late night game when he first premiered “Last Week Tonight,” but in Season 2, John Oliver isn’t about to mess with success.

In a new promo for the second season premiering in February, Oliver rejects every gimmicky idea the narrator throws his way, including adding a pony, a baby or some precocious, multi-cultural children to the show. Instead, Oliver plans to head back to his desk with the same poignant and delightfully funny show that was repeatedly deemed one of the best of 2014.

By the way, Oliver. You’re welcome.
