The (arguably) least talked-about upcoming DC Comics film — Neil Gaiman’s Sandman — was announced last year,and director Joseph Gordon-Levitt has finally given us an update on the ambitious adaptation.

Speaking with Moviefone, Gordon-Levitt says “we’re working towards it.” Having starred in Sin City: A Dame to Kill For, the actor/director says that experience has helped him learn how to helm a comic book movie, specifically because of the film’s use of green screen.
