Katy Perry just got a major hair makeover, and her inspiration for the change came from somewhere super unexpected.

The 29-year-old posted an Instagram photo of her freshly dyed ‘do on Thursday, calling the new color “hot wheels hurrr/play doe pink.” To achieve the wild look, Perry took a cue from none other than Animal, the crazy drummer from “The Muppet Show.”

Though Perry has been recently sporting jet-black hair, the natural blonde is no stranger to experimenting with bold colors. She’s had “slime” green, accidentally orange, electric blue, cotton-candy pink and purple locks.

Animal would totally approve.
