Kim Kardashian might not have known Kanye West was going to announce plans to run for president in 2020 at the MTV Video Music Awards, but she believes him.

“That was news to me,” she said. “He’s serious. I believe he is serious and I know that, you know, if he puts his mind to something he’ll do his best. You know, it’s been fascinating just hearing all of the conversations that have gone on since that announcement. I don’t know if that was planned and I just didn’t know about it, or if he came up with that idea right then and there.”

The reality star said she thinks it’d be “fun” to be the First Lady and redecorate the White House.

The couple is currently busy awaiting the arrival of their second child. Kardashian said she won’t start thinking about a name for their son until she is eight months along. DeGeneres shared some ideas, like Head, The Wild Wild or East Meets.

“I do like the name Easton,” Kardashian admitted. “I don’t think we’ll go another direction. It’s definitely not South. Every time someone says South, I just wanna roll my eyes.”
