While Tenzin Gyatso, the 14th Dalai Lama, has definitely taken a selfie in his time, it seems Jenner and Griffith opted for a sneaky snap that only caught back of the spiritual leader’s head. Couldn’t they have just asked for a photo with him?

You’re clearly wondering: how did Jenner and Griffith get so close to the Dalai Lama in the first place? They were VIP guests at his 80th birthday celebration in Anaheim, California, on Sunday, which brought out 18,000 people, according to the Los Angeles Times.
