Lady Gaga is taking her upcoming part in “American Horror Story: Hotel” very seriously. The entertainer has regularly tweeted and Instagrammed promotions for her debut role as The Countess, owner of the Hotel Cortez.
On Monday, Gaga shared one of her scariest “AHS” photos yet, showing her character poised above an array of creepy characters.
She captioned the photo, “We have a lovely pool here at The Cortez #AHSHotel #9days.”

“I’ve just been weeping while I’m here because I have returned to something I’ve believed in so much, which is the art of darkness,” Gaga said in an interview with Entertainment Weekly. “It’s not something that everyone understands, but, for the people that do — ‘Horror Story’ fans, my fans — there is a true connection between us, and it’s a language within itself.”
