A pair of new TV spots have arrived online for A Walk Among The Tombstones, in which Liam Neeson plays an alcoholic ex-cop working as a shady private investigator.
When Dan Stevens’ heroin trafficker enlists his help to look into the kidnap of his wife, Neeson is unfortunately unable to prevent her death. However, what he can do is help serve up some revenge.
So it is that Neeson, Stevens and his brother all team up to take out the sadistic criminals responsible, before they kill again…
Take a look at the new teasers, below…
It’s unfortunate that it’s now impossible to watch Liam Neeson threaten somebody over the phone without thinking of Taken, but that aside, this looks like a pleasingly grimy thriller that seems to skirt close to horror territory at times.
Directed by Scott Frank and adapted from Lawrence Block’s series of novels, A Walk Among The Tombstones co-stars Boyd Holbrook, David Harbour and Sebastian Roché, and will open in the UK on 18 September 2014.
