The latest trailer for Joe Wright’s “Pan” takes us to Neverland for all the action and adventure awaiting the young Peter Pan. In it, we learn that an ancient prophecy reveals that Peter, played by newcomer Levi Miller, will lead an uprising against Hugh Jackman’s pirate Blackbeard.
The new footage, which debuted at Comic-Con last weekend, shows Peter flying, Garrett Hedlund’s pre-hook-handed James Hook riding in a lagoon with Rooney Mara’s Tiger Lily, and a look at what the famous crocodile from Disney’s 1953 “Peter Pan” looks like in its modern iteration. Tick-Tock the Crocodile may have been cute and green when animated, but he’s huge and terrifying now. “Pan” opens Oct. 9.
