Michael Douglas on The Wasp in Ant-Man

While promoting Ant-Man at San Diego Comic-Con over the weekend, Henry Pym actor Michael Douglas discussed the role and fate of his wife Janet van Dyne — known as The Wasp — in the upcoming Marvel film. (Warning: Spoilers ahead!)

Speaking with Entertainment Weekly, Douglas revealed that The Wasp appears to die sometime while he’s working on the serum that allows Pym to transform into the size of an ant. “My name is Dr. Henry Pym. I’m an entomologist. I’m also a physicist and I discovered in 1963, a way, a serum to reduce a human being to the size of ant maintaining the strength,” explained Douglas.
