Mira Sorvino Meets (And Apologizes To) The Real Inventor Of Post-Its

It’s been 18 years since Mira Sorvino and Lisa Kudrow tried to pull a fast one on their high school classmates by claiming to be the inventors of the Post-It in “Romy and Michele’s High School Reunion,” and now Sorvino has finally gotten the chance to give credit where credit is due.

When the Academy Award-winner dropped by HuffPost Live on Wednesday to chat about her new film “Chloe & Theo,” host Nancy Redd surprised her with an appearance by Art Fry, the scientist who actually invented the Post-It in the 1970s. In the video above, Fry shares a special souvenir he got from the movie, and Sorvino drops into her Romy voice (!!!) to formally apologize for stealing his invention.
