Mulder and Scully are back!

A handful of new photos from the set of the “X-Files” reboot, which premieres in January 2016, have appeared online. The official “X-Files” Twitter account shared the first photos of David Duchovny’s Mulder and Gillian Anderson’s Scully.

But wait, one photo shows what appears to be Mulder kissing Scully. That’s a pretty solid smooch if we’ve ever seen one.

But kissing is nothing new for these two actors. Last month, Duchovny played a show to celebrate the release of his debut album, “Hell or Highwater.” Anderson came on stage to sing with her “X-Files” co-star, and then the two kissed. But soon after, Duchovny denied any dating rumors between himself and Anderson.

“The whole thing about Gillian and I dating is so weird,” Duchovny told TV Line. “It’s never happened, it’s not going to happen, we’re friends.” OK, sure, but maybe that’s not true for the new era of Mulder and Scully in the upcoming reboot.
