Halloween is almost here, and ahead of the spookiest day of the year, you’ll find the newly released Star Wars: Vader’s Castle Omnibus discounted to just $40 (was $50). That’s the best price we’ve seen for the collection since it arrived on October 8–making this a good time to check out this horror-tinged Star Wars graphic novel collection.
Star Wars: Vader’s Castle – The Deluxe Library Collection (Hardcover)
$40 (was $50)
This graphic novel collection clocks in at over 400 pages and features a foreboding black and red cover design. It compiles multiple stories into one volume, including:
- Star Wars Adventures: Tales from Vader’s Castle
- Star Wars Adventures: Return to Vader’s Castle
- Star Wars Adventures: Shadow of Vader’s Castle
- Star Wars Adventures: Ghosts of Vader’s Castle
- Star Wars Adventures: Droid Hunters
Combined, these tell the comprehensive tale of Darth Vader’s lair and those trapped inside. It primarily follows Rebel Commander Lina Graff and Lieutenant Hudd as they attempt to escape the castle and flee to safety. Along the way, the duo share scary stories from across the galaxy, featuring iconic characters and villains. The graphic novels are all written by Cavan Scott–responsible for Star Wars: Tales from the Death Star–and you’ll find illustrations from prominent artists such as Francesco Francavilla–whose work includes Zorro, Black Panther, and Captain America. The collection should be an excellent way to enjoy fun sci-fi action with a horror twist, and it’s especially appropriate for Halloween.
Want more Star Wars action? Check out Star Wars: Mace Windu – The Glass Abyss Novel for $25 (was $30) or The Rise and Fall of the Galactic Empire for $24 (was $30). Both are down to some of the lowest prices of the year, though it’s unclear how long the discounts will stick around.
