No Guardians End Credits Easter Egg (Yet)

Director James Gunn is holding the end credits Easter Egg back until opening day for Guardians of the Galaxy.

Posting on Facebook before the Los Angeles premiere, Gunn let fans and attendees know that he’s not screening the special end credits tag before the movie opens to the public. He wants to save that Easter Egg until everyone can see the newest movie in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

“One bit of business for those of you going to the premiere tonight: There WILL be a tag at the end of the credits on Guardians of the Galaxy, but it won’t be playing tonight, just as it hasn’t been playing on the press screenings,” he wrote. “It’s something we’re saving for people who go see the movie on the first day in theaters around the world.”
