Golfer Rory McIlroy will have another well-known face join him on the green on Wednesday: One Direction’s Niall Horan.
The pop singer will be caddying for the world number one at the Masters’ Par-3 Contest, a more light-hearted event ahead of the tournament this week.
“He’s been excited to come here,” McIlroy said Tuesday, according to PGATour.com. “He’s never been to the Masters.”
Kind of awkwardly, Horan will be taking the place of McIlroy’s ex-girlfriend, tennis pro Caroline Wozniacki, who caddied for him the past two years, PGATour.com said.
McIlroy extended the invite to Horan while the pair were each in Australia at the end of last year.
