Prince's 'Baltimore' Video Includes Footage From Baltimore Protests

Back in May, Prince released a protest song about Freddie Gray and Baltimore, aptly titled “Baltimore.”

On Tuesday, the musician released a video featuring Eryn Allen Kane, composed of footage from the protests intermixed with newspaper headlines and the song’s own lyrics, that makes for a powerful four and half minutes.

The video ends with a quote from Prince: “The system is broken. It’s going to take the young people to fix it this time. We need new ideas, new life.”
