British actor Simon Kassianides has joined the second season of Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD in a major recurring role.

According to Deadline, Kassianides will play Bakshi, “a confident right-hand man who’s not afraid to do the dirty work.” The actor is one of several newcomers to the show, including Lucy Lawless as longtime SHIELD agent Isabel Hartley, Nick Blood as a mercenary, and Reed Diamond.
