Ray Fawkes has recently been making a name for himself at DC, writing dark, supernatural series like Constantine and Trinity of Sin: Pandora, as well as contributing to the weekly comic Batman Eternal. But Fawkes first appeared on the radar of many comic fans when he wrote and illustrated the graphic novel One Soul for Oni Press. It seems that Fawkes’ next project will be a blend of his trademark horror with the creativity and introspection of One Soul.

On the eve of Comic-Con, Image announced their latest new series, Intersect. Fawkes will both write and illustrate this ongoing series. And because summarizing the book is easier said than done, here is Image’s official description:
