Today the world lost another legendary actress with the news of Ruby Dee’s passing. According to the Associated Press, Dee’s daughter, Nora Davis Day, confirmed that the acclaimed civil rights activist died at home in New Rochelle on Wednesday night (June 11) of “natural causes.”
