All hail Serena Williams, Sports Illustrated’s first female “Sportsperson of the Year” since 1983 and the sexiest woman alive — if her latest red carpet look is any indication, that is.
The 21-time Grand Slam title winner attended the “Sportsperson of the Year” ceremony in New York City Tuesday night clad in a lingerie-inspired dress with a form-fitting bodice, open skirt and sheer paneling that exposed her famous (and ridiculously scrutinized) legs.
The lovely look comes right off the heels of not just her SI cover, but her iconic appearance in the 2016 Pirelli calendar, as well.
Inside the event, Williams told the crowd she hopes that by winning SoY award she “can inspire many, many, many more women.” Her sister Venus described the evening on Instagram as “surreal.”
