It’s been almost a decade since San Comic-Con attendees got to visit Sin City, but that ended today when The Weinstein Co. brought Frank Miller’s Sin City: A Dame To Kill For to SDCC.
Co-directors Robert Rodriguez and Frank Miller were there to show off some footage from their forthcoming comic book movie sequel, which opens August 22.
Weaving together two of Miller’s classic stories with new tales, the town’s most hard boiled citizens cross paths with some of its more notorious inhabitants. Sin City: A Dame to Kill For is the follow up to Rodriguez and Miller’s 2005 groundbreaking film.
In addition to Eva Green as the title character Ava Lord, Sin City 2 also stars Jessica Alba, Powers Boothe, Josh Brolin, Rosario Dawson, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Dennis Haysbert, Stacy Keach, Jaime King, Ray Liotta, Jeremy Piven, Mickey Rourke, and Bruce Willis.
