Spider-Man 4 Gets A Release Date, Launches Just After The Next Avengers Movie

Earlier this fall, Shang-Chi director Destin Daniel Cretton entered talks to helm Spider-Man 4, and subsequently closed his deal with Sony and Marvel. Now, Tom Holland’s next MCU Spider-Man has set a 2026 premiere date, nearly five years after Spider-Man: No Way Home hit theaters.

Spider-Man 4, which doesn’t officially have a title yet, will arrive in theaters on July 24, 2026. That’s just over two months after the debut of Avengers: Doomsday, which hits on May 1, 2026. Marvel and Sony have yet to confirm that Holland will be in both movies, but it seems like a safe bet. Holland’s second Spider-Man film, Spider-Man: Far From Home, also released on the heels of Avengers: Endgame in 2019.

It’s less certain who will be appearing in Spider-Man 4, since Holland is the only cast member currently confirmed to return. Although Holland recently shared that he and his partner and Spider-Man co-star, Zendaya, read the script for the new movie. She seems likely to reprise her role as MJ, despite having her memory of Peter Parker erased during No Way Home.
