Super Smash Bros. Turns Your 3DS Into a Portable (Smash Bros.) Music Player

This feature will presumably be of less use to those with a 2DS, which doesn’t fold shut, but those people will still be able to freely listen to the game’s soundtrack.

The 3DS version of Super Smash Bros. launches on October 3, with the Wii U version following sometime this holiday–something we recently learned is due to the intense amount of testing required. The two versions do feature some differences beyond the graphics and Play in Sleep Mode: there’s the 3DS-exclusive Smash Run mode, a way to buy trophies in the 3DS version, and levels and trophies that are only available in one version or the other.
