Taylor Swift has filed a countersuit against David Mueller, the former Colorado radio DJ who was fired after accusations of groping the singer while posing for a photo at the Pepsi Center in 2013.
According to E! News, the court documents address Mueller’s claim that he was falsely accused.
“Ms. Swift knows exactly who committed the assault — it was Mueller — and she is not confused in the slightest about whether her long-term business acquaintance, Mr. Haskell, was the culprit,” they read. “Resolution of this Counterclaim will demonstrate that Mueller alone was the perpetrator of the humiliating and wrongful conduct targeted against Ms. Swift, and will serve as an example to other women who may resist publicly reliving similar outrageous and humiliating acts.”
Swift intends to donate any money won from the trial to organizations devoted to protecting women from similar instances of sexual assault.
