From new dance crazes to celebrities squaring off in lip-sync battles, 2015 was a great year for YouTube.

In its annual year-in-review, the video-sharing site released lists of the top videos of the year. Categories include music videos, ads, gaming videos and top overall trending videos. YouTube compiled its lists based on the amount of time people spent watching, sharing, commenting and more. The most popular videos attracted millions upon millions of views.
