Today at the Television Critics Association press tour, the producers of The CW’s upcoming DC Comics series, The Flash, announced that the famous Flash villain Captain Cold will be appearing on the show.

Prison Break star Wentworth Miller, in his first high-profile TV role in several years, will be playing Leonard Snart – aka Captain Cold – leader of a super-villain team, The Rogues (which included, in the comics, Flash-haters Mirror Master, The Trickster, Weather Wizard, and Captain Boomerang among others).

“We’ll be seeing his origin and the origin of the Rogues,” said EP Greg Berlanti.
