Nick McWhorter, vice president of media licensing at Dark Horse Comics, revealed to IGN today that his company is working on a lore book for The Witcher universe that catches fans up with everything through The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.

Releasing in tandem with The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, the coffee table book, called The World of The Witcher, will cover the story and setting of the previous two games (such as main character Geralt of Rivia). In addition, McWhorter added that everything is told from an in-fiction perspective, unlike most art books.

“It’s a great way to catch up on the story so far

as well for established fans,” McWhorter said. “It’s going to take a real deep dive into the lore and lot of things that haven’t been explored because you can’t explore every facet in the game.”
