Free-to-play card game The Elder Scrolls Legends is no longer available to purchase on Steam and its servers will be switched off on January 30, 2025.
“Thank you for playing and we hope you have enjoyed your time in Legends,” the game’s Steam page (via Rock Paper Shotgun) reads. Set in the same fantasy world as the mainline Elder Scrolls games, The Elder Scrolls Legends launched back in 2017 and was one of several mobile games released by Bethesda back then, alongside the likes of Fallout Shelter and The Elder Scrolls: Blades.
Active development on The Elder Scrolls Legend ended in 2019, but there were still regular events and rewards for dedicated players. There have been several high-profile live-service game cancellations over the last couple of years, with one of the more notable being Sony’s hero shooter Concord. After less than two weeks on sale, the game was taken offline and was permanently sunset in October, while developer Firewalk Studios was closed down.
