The third season of Marvel’s Ultimate Spider-Man animated series will be subtitled Web Warriors, introducing Miles Morales from the Ultimate comic book line and many other alternate-reality Spidey counterparts.
USA Today reports that Ultimate Spider-Man: Web Warriors will premiere on Disney XD on August 31, with a focus on a “Spider-Verse” storyline, including Miles Morales, Iron Spider, Spider-Man 2099, Spider-Man Noir, and, yes… Spider-Ham! And yeah, that sure looks like Petra Parker as Spider-Girl. This new arc is “going to really show how important Spider-Man — and by extension Peter Parker — is to the entire universe we’ve built,” said Stephen Wacker, vice president in Marvel Television’s animation division.
