“The Walking Dead” cast and crew recently began production on the show’s sixth season, but has already experienced a bit of drama. Seth Gilliam, who plays Rev. Gabriel Stokes, was arrested in Peachtree, Georgia — close to where the show shoots, in Senoia — on Sunday for driving 107 miles per hour, according to local police. A marijuana cigarette was also found in his car.
Gilliam was charged with DUI, drug possession and speeding, and taken to the Fayette County Jail. According to police records, the actor was initially pulled over for speeding just after 2 a.m. The incident report claims that his “eyes were extremely bloodshot,” and Gilliam registered a 0.107 blood-alcohol content. He was booked and released.
Gilliam has also appeared in “The Good Wife,” “Teen Wolf” and the 2014 film “Still Alice.” AMC declined to comment on the impact the incident my have on production of “The Walking Dead.”
