Beauty is subjective, y’all.
Zendaya gets it, as she recently replied to a papparazzi’s question about if she had guidance for “girls that think they’re ugly and stuff” with the gem:
“Nobody’s ugly! That doesn’t exist. I say, take the time to get to know who you are. Take the time to love yourself, and everything will be alright.”
Ugh, are you clap-sobbing yet?
Society tries to act like beauty is the sum of a very narrow set of physical traits. But what if instead we defined it as an authentic expression of the self?
Food for Zendaya thought on this glorious Wednesday.
