A Kickstarter to create a line of Legends of Cthulhu retro action figures has already met its $60,000 goal, but now we are excited to announced that they are adding two more figures as stretch goals: a 12″ Cthulhu and H.P. Lovecraft himself.
The original goal was for The Cultist, The Professor, Spawn of Cthulhu, and The Deep One, all from the work of H.P. Lovecraft. The figures channel the aesthetic of toys from the late 70s/early 80s, from their 3.75” height to their simple accessories to their limited points of articulation. The campaign is being put on by Warpo, who hired veteran toy makers and artists to make these guys as authentic as possible.
