Iron Man 3 writer-director Shane Black didn’t have to look much farther than the Marvel Universe to know who he wants to play old school pulp hero Doc Savage in his long-gestating big screen version.
Buried within their news about Black rebooting Predator for 20th Century Fox, The Hollywood Reporter also reveals that Black “recently met with Chris Hemsworth for the title role, but it’s unclear when that project would shoot since it’s still grappling with budgetary issues. Sony, however, does consider Savage one of its priorities.”
