Well-known and beloved Batman villains like The Penguin, The Riddler, and Catwoman are set to put their stamp on Gotham when the TV series launches this fall on FOX, but what about the cold-hearted Mr. Freeze?
Gotham pilot director Danny Cannon (Nikita, I Still Know What You Did Last Summer) told HitFix that he has a great idea for introducing Mr. Freeze during the show’s first season, but he has to win over series creator Bruno Heller and executive producer Geoff Johns first. “I have a big pitch with Bruno about the Mr. Freeze character, whose origins are uncertain,” Cannon said. “If I can win Geoff Johns over and if I can win Bruno over, then I look forward to the moment where that character can be realized.”
