The GameSpot Fifty, our own list of the 50 most-anticipated upcoming games gives you an in-depth look into what everyone is talking about and what people most want to play in the coming year.
The current top three games in overall rankings (across all current- and last-gen consoles and handhelds as well as PC) are:
Results are updated daily at 8AM and reflect the current gaming trends by analyzing what people are reading across the entire GameSpot Network. And you can see the highest rank a game has achieved right on the list; notably Dragon Age: Inquisition previously held a number two spot, and the Wii U version of Super Smash Bros. climbed up to number three.
The number one games for each platform are:
- Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC: Assassin’s Creed Unity
- Wii U: Watch Dogs
- Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3: Battlefield Hardline
- 3DS: Pokemon Alpha Sapphire/Omega Ruby
- Vita: The Wolf Among Us
