Destiny Xbox One Supports Pre-Loading

The version of Bungie’s upcoming shooter will support pre-loading, Microsoft has confirmed. That means you’ll be able to pre-purchase the game and download it so you can start playing exactly at midnight on Tuesday, September 9.

The confirmation of the pre-load option for Destiny on Xbox One comes after an Xbox.com listing–which has since been removed–revealed that this would be the case. This listing said the game would unlock at 12:01 AM PDT/3:01 AM EDT on September 9.

A Microsoft representative confirmed that Destiny for Xbox One will support pre-loading in a statement to . The game’s file size was not specified, though details should be announced soon. “We’ll have more details to share soon about the pre-order and pre-download window for Destiny,” Microsoft said.
