For the uninitiated, “Dragon Ball Z” is a landmark action anime that helped popularize the genre for Western audiences, while “Street Fighter II” basically kick-started an entire breed of fighting video games. The sequences in the movie were created using M.U.G.E.N., a computer program that lets users make custom fighting games and characters.
