Guardians Of The Galaxy has released a new extended trailer online, featuring a few new snippets of footage, as Chris Pratt and his band of misfits get ready to save the world.

The new trailer isn’t quite as funny as previous efforts, but it does crank up the badassery as Star-Lord and chums resolve to take a stand against the villainous Ronan the Accuser.

Stay tuned right until the end of the trailer too, as there’s a first glimpse of Michael Rooker’s blue-skinned Yondu just before the close.

All in all, we’d say this one is shaping up to be the most fun-packed blockbuster of the summer. All together now… “I’m Groot!”

Directed by James Gunn and co-starring Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista and Bradley Cooper, Guardians Of The Galaxy will open in the UK on 1 August 2014.
